Alka-Seltzer XS Effervescent Tablets provide relief from headache, migraine, toothache, sore throat, heartburn, and indigestion. Description Each tablet contains three active ingredients: aspirin, paracetamol, and caffeine. Aspirin belongs to the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) class and works to reduce pain and inflammation. Paracetamol provides pain relief and helps lower fever. Caffeine acts as a mild stimulant and enhances the pain-relieving effect of paracetamol. These tablets are intended for adults and children aged 16 years and older. Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or to other NSAIDs. Avoid use if you have a bleeding disorder such as haemophilia, a current or past stomach ulcer, or if you are taking methotrexate at doses of 15mg or higher. Do not use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding unless specifically directed by a doctor.
