Aptamil 1 First Infant Milk 800 g Aptamil 1 is a nutritionally complete breastmilk substitute suitable for use from birth. It contains Omega-3 (DHA), as required by legislation for all infant formula. The formula also includes vitamin D to support normal immune system function. This product is suitable for combination or bottle feeding. It can be used as the sole source of nutrition from birth to 6 months, and as part of a weaning diet from 6 months to 1 year. Description Aptamil 1 provides complete nutrition for infants from birth. It contains a unique blend of ingredients, including Omega-3 (DHA) and vitamin D. The formula meets legislative requirements for infant formula composition. How to use To open, remove the tamper-evident strip from the pack rim. A built-in leveler is included for accurate measuring. Store the scoop in the lid for safekeeping. Close the lid securely after each use to maintain freshness. To prepare the feed: Measure 150 ml (5 fl oz) of boiled, cooled water into a clean beaker. Add 5 level scoops of powder using the scoop provided. Do not press or heap the powder. Replace the lid on the beaker. Shake vertically and vigorously for 10 seconds until the powder dissolves. Check the temperature before feeding and serve immediately. Precautions For hygiene reasons, do not store prepared feeds. Discard any unfinished feed as soon as possible, and always within 2 hours. Do not heat feeds in a microwave, as hot spots may occur and cause scalding. Infants should be supervised at all times during feeding. Store the powder in a cool, dry place. Do not refrigerate. Use within 4 weeks of opening.
