Coscof Expectorant Syrup 100Ml
Description Coscof Expectorant Syrup 100ml is a cough suppressant for the symptomatic relief of unproductive cough linked to colds. Each 5ml contains chlorpheniramine 2mg, sodium citrate 44mg, pseudoephedrine 30mg, and codeine phosphate BP 6mg. The antihistamine action of chlorpheniramine together with the bronchodilator effect of pseudoephedrine helps ease irritation and congestion. Codeine provides antitussive action to reduce the discomfort of persistent unproductive coughing. How to use Adults and children over 12 years: 10ml three to four times daily. Children 6–12 years: 5ml. This may be repeated after four hours if needed, with a maximum of 4 doses in 24 hours. Children 2–6 years: 2.5ml four times daily. Do not use for more than 3 days. This medicine is available only with a valid doctor's prescription.
