Description Each enteric-coated capsule contains Peppermint oil 150 mg and Neem oil 500 mg. Peppermint oil produces an antispasmodic effect on gastrointestinal smooth muscles in a dose-dependent manner. Neem oil possesses antiseptic, antifungal, antipyretic and antihistamine properties. This medicine is indicated for over-the-counter symptomatic relief of mild gastrointestinal tract spasms, flatulence and abdominal pain, particularly in patients with irritable bowel syndrome. Contraindications Peppermint oil is relatively contraindicated in patients with hiatal hernia or significant gastroesophageal reflux disease, as its action on the lower esophageal sphincter may worsen symptoms. Peppermint oil has been used to induce menstruation and should be avoided during pregnancy.
