Flu-Gone Medicated Flu & Cold Lozenges Honey And Lemon Flavour 100S Description Flu-Gone lozenges provide relief from sinus congestion, sinus pressure, runny nose, watery eyes, itching of the nose and throat, and sneezing associated with upper respiratory infections such as colds, allergies, and hay fever. Each lozenge contains four active ingredients: Chlorpheniramine Maleate, Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, Paracetamol/Acetaminophen, and Phenylephrine. Chlorpheniramine is an anti-allergic agent that addresses allergy symptoms including runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Dextromethorphan acts as a cough suppressant by decreasing activity in the cough centre of the brain. Paracetamol functions as both an analgesic for pain relief and an antipyretic for reducing fever by blocking the release of specific chemical messengers in the brain responsible for pain and fever. Phenylephrine serves as a decongestant that narrows small blood vessels to relieve nasal congestion and stuffiness. How to use Adults and children over 12 years: Take 1-2 lozenges every six hours. Do not exceed 6 lozenges in 24 hours. This product may be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Consult your healthcare provider before use.
