Description Gofen 200mg Softgel Capsules contain ibuprofen in a liquid gel formulation designed for rapid absorption. Each capsule delivers 200mg of ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by reducing the production of prostaglandins, the chemicals responsible for pain and inflammation in the body. This formulation may be suitable for individuals who experience stomach sensitivity with conventional NSAID tablets. The softgel technology allows the liquid ibuprofen to dissolve quickly and enter the bloodstream faster than standard tablet forms. Gofen 200mg is indicated for the temporary relief of mild to moderate pain including headache, dental pain, backache, muscular pain, menstrual cramps, and fever reduction. It may also be used for pain associated with arthritis, migraine, and post-operative discomfort when directed by a healthcare professional. How to use Take as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Adults and children over 12 years: typically one 200mg capsule every 4 to 6 hours as needed, not exceeding 1200mg in 24 hours unless otherwise prescribed. Take with food or milk if stomach upset occurs. Do not use for more than 10 days for pain or 3 days for fever without medical advice.
