Description Pepto-Bismol Extra (Double Strength) Liquid provides relief from travellers' diarrhoea, diarrhoea, and upset stomach caused by overindulgence in food and drink. It addresses symptoms including heartburn, indigestion, nausea, feeling full, and bloated feeling. This extra strength formulation comes in a 350mL bottle. Pepto-Bismol is also available in other forms and flavours, including cherry-flavoured liquids, extra strength liquids, chewable tablets, and swallowable caplets. How to use The adult dosage is 115mL. Please follow the label instructions for correct children's dosage. Ingredients Each 30mL dose contains bismuth subsalicylate 525mg. Warnings Keep out of reach of children. Do not exceed recommended dosage. Consult a healthcare professional before use in children or teenagers recovering from chickenpox or flu symptoms. Do not use if you have an allergy to salicylates (including aspirin), a bleeding problem, bloody or black stool, or if taking other salicylate products. Stop use and ask a doctor if symptoms worsen or persist longer than 2 days. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should seek medical advice before use. May cause temporary darkening of the stool and/or tongue.
