Pregnacare Plus Description Pregnacare Plus is a dual-pack supplement designed for use throughout pregnancy. It contains the original Pregnacare tablet formula together with Omega-3 capsules providing 300mg DHA per capsule. Each Pregnacare tablet supplies essential vitamins and minerals, including 400µg folic acid and 10µg vitamin D at the recommended levels. Supplemental folic acid intake increases maternal folate status. Low maternal folate status is a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the developing foetus. The tablets also contain moderate iron and vitamins B6 and B12, which contribute to normal red blood cell formation. The tablets are manufactured in Britain to high GMP quality standards. Each Omega-3 capsule provides 300mg DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid), a level recommended by international experts including ISSFAL. Maternal intake of DHA contributes to the normal development of the eye and brain of the foetus. The fish oil is produced to high GMP quality standards. Pregnacare does not contain vitamin A, as high levels are not recommended during pregnancy. How to use Take as directed on the packaging or as advised by your healthcare provider.
