Profen (Ibuprofen) 200Mg 100S Description Profen contains ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Ibuprofen reduces inflammation and provides relief from pain such as menstrual pain, neuralgia, dental pain, headaches and migraine, backache, rheumatic and muscular pain, and joint swelling and stiffness. It also helps lower fever and ease cold and flu symptoms. How to use Take this medicine exactly as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you are uncertain, ask your doctor or pharmacist for guidance. Adults, elderly patients, and children over 12 years: Use this product for short-term relief only. Take the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration needed to manage your symptoms. Do not use for more than 10 days unless specifically instructed by your doctor. Consult your doctor if symptoms continue or get worse. The usual dose is 200 mg or 400 mg (1 or 2 tablets) taken with water, preferably with or after food, up to three times daily as needed. Wait at least 4 hours between doses. Do not exceed 1200 mg (6 tablets) in 24 hours.
