Zefcolin Cough Syrup 100Ml
Description Zefcolin Cough Syrup is formulated for the relief of dry cough. Each 5 ml contains dextromethorphan hydrobromide 10 mg, phenylephrine hydrochloride 5 mg, cetirizine hydrochloride 5 mg, and racementhol 1.5 mg. Pack size: 100 ml liquid. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide is a cough suppressant with central action on the cough centre in the medulla. It provides relief for non-productive dry cough. Cetirizine Hydrochloride is a long-acting antihistamine with mast cell stabilizing activity. It is used for the symptomatic relief of hypersensitivity reactions including rhinitis. Phenylephrine Hydrochloride is used for the symptomatic relief of nasal congestion. It is indicated for the relief of cough and cold symptoms. Menthol produces a cooling and local analgesic effect on irritated and inflamed respiratory mucosa. This reduces mucosal irritation and the generation of cough impulses.
